Golden light, bold blooms, and the sweetest bump moments in full bloom.

I still can’t get over this maternity session — it felt like stepping into a dream.

This mama and I met in the most incredible dahlia field just outside of Sydney, and honestly, it was magic from the very beginning. The flowers were in full bloom, the light was soft and golden, and there was this peaceful stillness in the air — the kind you only get at the end of a warm day.

As a Sydney maternity photographer, I’m always looking for locations that feel a little bit special — places that let us slow down, breathe, and soak up everything that comes with this season of motherhood. This field delivered all of that and more.

This mama wore a couple of my favourite pieces from the client wardrobe — soft, earthy tones that paired so beautifully with the colours in the flowers. She moved, breathed, connected with her bump, and the result was a gallery full of honest, love-soaked moments.

These flower field maternity sessions are seasonal and super limited — I only release a handful each year and they usually go to my VIP list first. If you’re after something that feels soft, feminine, and full of soul, this is for you.

I recommend booking your maternity session between 30–36 weeks pregnant. That’s usually when your bump is perfectly round and you’re still feeling good in your body. You’ll also get full access to my client wardrobe, so you don’t have to worry about finding something to wear — I’ve got you covered with flowy dresses, robes, and simple styling that photographs beautifully.

Whether it’s your first baby or your third, this season is worth capturing. These fleeting weeks of anticipation, those quiet moments with your hands resting on your belly — they deserve to be remembered.

If you’re dreaming of your own maternity session in Sydney, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make something beautiful together.
